How it works

Per room, not per head

Most places charge you per person. We charge for the room — so the price is the same whether two of you turn up or eight. Split it between the group and the cost per person falls the more of you there are. Rooms start at £60, and a full room works out at around £20 each — so the more of you there are, the better it gets.

Every game is private. You will never be put in with strangers to make up numbers, and you never pay extra for the privilege.

What is included

Your room for the full 60 or 90 minutes, a games master watching over you the whole way, and as many hints as you actually need.

Under-7s play free

They join in and they do not count towards the price. Bring them.

No hidden extras

The price you see is the price you pay. No booking fee, no per-person surcharge.

Bigger groups

Run two or three rooms side by side — up to 23 players at once — then compare escape times afterwards.

Choosing a room

Which size suits you

Two players is the toughest and the most intense — everything rests on you. Three to five is the sweet spot for most groups: enough hands for the puzzles, few enough that nobody drifts. Six to eight is the party option, and the cheapest per head; expect noise, arguing and at least one person insisting they had it all along.

If you are not sure, ring us on 01736 691049 and tell us who is coming — we will point you at the right room and the right size.

Do we pay a deposit?
You book and pay online when you reserve the slot, so there is nothing to sort out on the day.
Is it cheaper midweek?
The price is the same whenever you play. What changes midweek is availability — it is much easier to get the slot you want.
What if one of us drops out?
The price is for the room, so a smaller turnout does not change what you pay. It just makes the puzzles a little harder.
Can we pay separately?
The booking takes one payment. Most groups settle up between themselves afterwards — splitting the room price is simple enough.
