The journey
Follow the coast road through Newlyn and into Penzance — ten minutes on a normal day. Park in the harbour car parks on Wharfside and walk up into town.
If you’re down for the Christmas lights, the harbour fills early and the evening can be a long one. An hour indoors beforehand is a good way to start it.
There are no toilets in the rooms themselves — the gallery upstairs and several spots on New Street are all a minute away, so go before the clock starts.
