Everyone’s a hero here
From nine-year-olds to work teams, first-timers to fanatics — and yes, well-behaved dogs too — our rooms are built for all-comers. Here’s who can play, and how the ages work.

First time? Read this
Nobody expects you to have done one before — most people in our rooms are first-timers. There is no general knowledge, no physical strength and no trick you are supposed to already know. Everything you need is in the room, and your games master is watching the whole time, ready with a nudge the moment you want one.
You are never locked in against your will. The door opens from the inside at any point, so if someone needs to step out they can.
No experience needed
Most players have never done an escape room before.
Hints when you want them
Ask and you get one. It is your hour — there are no prizes for struggling in silence.
Dogs welcome
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in every room, which is rare for an escape room.
Access
The rooms are in a basement reached by a flight of stairs, and one puzzle asks you to bend low. Ring 01736 691049 to talk it through before booking.
