Fifteen minutes down the A3071 into Penzance. Park at the harbour and walk up into town.
Cape Cornwall and the mining coast are extraordinary in good conditions and fairly punishing in bad ones. This is the indoor hour that rescues the second kind of day.
There are no toilets in the rooms themselves — the gallery upstairs and several spots on New Street are all a minute away, so go before the clock starts.
